Editorial Policy

LAST UPDATED: August 3 2026

Search Learner aims at providing the best up-to-date information about the happenings in the digital marketing field. We ensure only value-laden content gets space on our website. This editorial policy governs our editorial standards, editorial process, and fundamental quality requirements for content.

Editorial Principles

We maintain and expect an upright quality standard in the content published on our website. It must pass our editorial guidelines irrespective of any current or past links of the writer with Search Learner. The content published on Search Learner should not be published anywhere else. Also, the already published content will not be accepted under any circumstances.

We hold the ultimate authority to make decisions on posting the content. The content should be unique, relevant to digital marketers, and must provide value to the readers. Hence, we do not guarantee the publication of the submitted content if it does not meet the foundational requirements. Our content generally has a 1000-word length to make it readable and provide maximum information in minimal words. However, longer content will be scrutinized before finalizing the approvals.

What We Post

We accept authentic, informational content that adds value to the readers’ knowledge.

We publish:

  • Opinions: We consider genuine opinions about the current happenings in digital marketing and related fields.
  • Analysis: The analysis or inferences derived from the surveys, studies, or any published trend are welcome.
  • Updates: Any update related to digital marketing that can help the stakeholders in any form will be considered for publication.
  • Value Addition: Content that adds value to the already known strategies and techniques is accepted.

The above content will be subjected to the scrutiny of our editorial team, after which it will be posted on our blog section.

Prohibited Content

Content with the following characteristics will not be posted on our platform.

  1. Content solely aimed at link building.
  2. Content intentionally favors any firm or individual.
  3. Topics already covered in any previously posted content on Search Learner.
  4. Deeply promotional content.
  5. Content having frivolous, incorrect, or offensive information.
  6. AI-generated content.

Search Learner holds the right to take down the published post in case it detects any of the above-mentioned discrepancies in the content.

Editorial Process

We follow a dedicated editorial process to filter the content and make sure only valuable and productive information gets space on the website.

Our editorial process consists of the following stages:

  1. Review Stage: The written content is considered and extensively reviewed to see if it matches the expectations.
  2. Drafting Stage: The content is restructured (if necessary) to meet the prevailing best practices, such as adding appropriate use of headings and using bullet points. Here, skimmable content is always preferred over general content.
  3. Refining Stage: After the content is done with all necessary tweaks, it undergoes the final scrutiny to make sure even minor issues get rectified before publication.
  4. Publishing Stage: When content is passed by the editorial team, it goes for publishing and will go live as per the decided roster.

Changes to the Policy

Search Learner reserves the right to make changes to the policy. The writers and contributors are advised to go through this policy before reading or submitting content. This is the latest version of the policy. The date on which the changes have been made to this policy will be intimated at the beginning of this document.
