Google is giving global access to its newly launched model, Gemini 4 Argon. Developers and enterprises can use it through the Gemini API in Studio, and applications are open for scientists to get access in Antigravity and AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the Gemini app and AI mode in search.

Gemini 4 Argon model is ranking at the top on the VALS index according to Google because it excels in deep, complex real-world work in the domains of finance, legal, coding, cybersecurity, science, and tax.

Who Can Access Gemini 4 Argon and How?
The Gemini 4 Argon model will become available worldwide for Google AI Ultra and Pro subscribers on 13 October 2026. On the same day, Google VP of Product for Google Search Robby Stein announced this rollout on X. Here is a post from X by Google DeepMind that clearly describes how it is accessible to different users.

Google first shared limited details earlier this month with access for cyber defenders. On 13 October, they mentioned Pro and Ultra subscribers and provided a guide that Users can use Argon from the AI mode model menu and ask anything bar using the “+” icon.

Argon Problem Solving Areas
Gemini Argon combines frontier reasoning, deep visual perception, expanded domain knowledge, and stronger writing capabilities to answer more directly, keep you in the loop, and follow style instructions better than any of our previous Gemini models.
Complex Engineering Problems
Google describes how Argon solves complex engineering problems using Argon in antigravity.
- Untangling browser feature code in Chrome
- Optimizing a production Python codebase in hours
Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, shares a post on X to show how well this model is solving complex problems.

Complex 3D Virtualization Capability
Sundar Pichai also shared some videos to show the capability of Gemini 4 Argon, which are shown below and provide details in different areas.
Some great use cases from Googlers building with Gemini 4 Argon 🧵 It has a much stronger grasp of coding and multi-step tool use – starting from a raw Pixel CAD file in Google Antigravity, Argon created this exploded-view animation, lighting, camera choreography, and audio through Blender MCP. It ran 1,000 rounds of iterative loops to check its own renders and refine the code along the way.

Google also opened the SynthID detector to be used globally.
There are many people sharing their experience on many platforms using Gemini 4 Argon on different problems and to create videos.
Final Words
Gemini 4 Argon is available for Ultra and Pro customers, but can it become the default and be used by free or trial users? Because it is not clear from the Google post or the Stein X post where it goes.
